Bryan Yang

Bryan Yang

Stand-up comedian Bryan Yang was born on a cold winter’s evening in the early spring morning of March 26, 1988. He began his illustrious comedy career a scant 18 years after his birth when he was but 18 years old. From there it was off to the races as he slowly began his comedic journey.

Yang began hitting open mics across the land while simultaneously attending community college. The combination of being a horrible student and an even worse comedian began to take its toll on the young comic and he fell into a deep depression. Later, Yang would even become suicidal. The thoughts of killing himself would soon subside when Bryan dropped out of college and decided to pursue comedy full time, rather than being dead.

With the venom from being bitten by the comedy bug coursing through his veins, Bryan has become a force to be reckoned with. He has graced such stages as the San Francisco Punchline, The Purple Onion and San Jose Improv, just to name a few places he has performed at for no other reason than to sound more successful than he really is. Aside from killing every time he performs live stand-up comedy, Bryan also co-hosts “The Unedited” podcast, once a week, with fellow comedians Chazz Hawkins and Carlos Rodriguez. The trio has amassed over 30 listeners with their hilarious podcast which is available for free on iTunes.

When Yang isn’t doing stand-up comedy he enjoys making promises to himself that he won’t keep, such as stating that he’s going to start going to the gym every day, and worrying about world issues that are out of his control. Currently, Bryan is half naked sitting in his studio apartment watching old pro wrestling matches on Youtube.
