Are you a fan of Saturday Night Live, Mad TV, Mr. Show, Kids in the Hall, Flight of the Concords? Sketch Lab is your opportunity to write, film, and star in your own comedy sketches!
In sketch lab you will learn the SCS method of writing successful sketches. Students will not only get feedback on their writing from the instructor they will also get peer feedback.
Selected sketches will be filmed and featured on our front page, YouTube, Funny or Die, and other comedy video sites. Many sketches will be selected to be performed live during the weekly Scramble on Sunday nights.
Sketch Lab- The Show
Now Sketch Lab is a monthly Sketch Comedy Show on the last Friday of the month at 11:00PM. Sketches written in sketch lab and from Sacramento Comedy Spot performers can be seen each month in a show that is part video and part live show!

Hey Brian – Didn’t want to be a pest, but I just wanted to throw out a reminder about the sketch writing tools as well. I’d like to get the homeless girl skit completed by next week.
