SECOND SATURDAYS AT THE MARRS BUILDING

Midtown Association is hosting Midtown Second Saturday June-October 2025, celebrating Sacramento’s vibrant arts community with an all-day arts celebration featuring local artists, art walks, live music, nightlife, culinary arts, and gallery exhibitions. 

The Sacramento Comedy Spot and the MARRS building is the centerpiece of this celebration. On the Second Saturday of each month, 20th Street in front of the Comedy Spot will be closed from 7AM-10PM. The street will feature vendors and food and family friendly music from 4 PM-7 PM. Important Note: Music is not playing during shows. 

YOU ARE OUR TOP PRIORITY
Your experience at the Comedy Spot and getting to the Comedy Spot is our top priority. Midtown is going to be busy, but not a cluster. We created this page to give you pro tips on parking as close to us as possible and provide you with a map of the Comedy Spot, the road closure, and where parking is located near the Comedy Spot. Give yourself extra time to park and maybe just come early and check out all things Midtown Second Saturday. 

STREET PARKING
If you want to park on the street, we find that there is more street parking on 20th Street North of the Comedy Spot toward I Street. Remember, lock your car and don’t leave anything sitting out on your seats. 

PAID PARKING LOTS
There are paid parking lots very close to the Comedy Spot. Here is a list, in order of proximity, and where to enter. You can also go to this Midtown Association Parking Map to show all paid parking locations: https://exploremidtown.org/map/second-saturday-map/?category=Parking

• 2020 J Street Parking – Down J Street (one way street) cross over 20th Street and the entrance is right AFTER the large billboard on the right side. See an attendant to pay.
• 2031 K Street Parking – Down K Street (two way street) entrance closer to 21st Street between 21st and 20th Streets. See an attendant to pay. 
• 1009 22nd Street Parking– Accessible from J or K Street. Turn on to 22nd and use Jazz Alley to enter the lot. If there is no attendant you can pay with your phone using the signs. 
• Bonfare Market and Liquor (20th and H Streets) lets people park in their parking lot for $5. Park and go inside to the counter to get a parking slip. Located at 809 20th St, Sacramento, CA 95814
