Ellen stumbled across an Improv 101 grad show at the Comedy Spot in 2013, and thought, “That is the most terrifying thing I have ever seen.” She went home and signed up immediately. Her first 101 class (taught by Brian Crall in the tiny backroom of the Comedy Spot theater) had amazing people like Kevin Cooley, Patrick Blanson, and Allison Baker in it (among others). She was hooked. And, despite moving their classes to various locations all over town since then, the Comedy Spot has not been able to shake her.
