Sacramento Pride March & Parade
When: Sunday, June 14, at 11:00 a.m.
Start Location: Starting at Southside Park (near 8th & T street)
End Location: State Capitol & festival entrance

Inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, the Sacramento Pride March returns on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. The march will comprise walking contingents, vehicle contingents, and large floats.

The Comedy Spot is proud to have participated in the Pride March every summer since 2023. Each year we have a walking contingent of about 50 participants. In past years we have been “that group with all the bubbles” and we fully intend upping our bubble game this year. We encourage everyone to wear what they would like to show their pride- we have also had our t-shirt supplier print purple shirts each year with the Comedy Spot logo that you may purchase if you like! Shirts are sold to us and you at cost each year thanks to Elk Grove Printing.

We will join thousands fellow marchers, some with colorful floats, music, and much more for this annual Sacramento Pride March. Harkening back to the earliest days of Pride events as protests against oppression, this event is both a demonstration of activism in our pursuit of equity and social justice as well as a celebration of diverse Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and two-spirit communities and culture.

Please submit the interest form on this page if you would like to be included in the Comedy Spot group.

Things of note:

• In addition to the walk itself, there will also be a lot of standing as we stage our group and wait for our turn in the procession.

• Being mid-June, the weather will be traditional summer – hot! Please dress and plan accordingly.

• Bring water!

• While we love pets, please do not bring them to this event. Aside from general heat, a lot of time will be spent on the hot asphalt roadway, and we want to keep them safe.
