SACRAMENTO COMEDY SPOT-LIGHT

Shining a light on the people who make Sacramento special.

The Sacramento Comedy Spot has created an incredible third space for misfits who love all things comedy. One of the best parts of being part of this city is that our little corner of the comedy world crosses paths with so many other incredible communities.

Sacramento is filled with people building, creating, helping others, bringing people together, and making our city better- artists, small business owners, musicians, creators, community leaders, and people doing wonderfully weird things.

Spot-light is our way of celebrating them.

Throughout the year, we honor people who help make Sacramento a more interesting, creative, welcoming, vibrant, and fun place to call home.

Each honoree is featured on our social media and pre-show slideshow and invited, along with five friends, to enjoy a free night of comedy at Anti-Cooperation League in our Chair of Honor.

Who Deserves the Spot-light? Nominate an Honoree

Help us find the people who make Sacramento special. Nominate a local business owner, artist, creator, community leader, interesting human, unsung hero, or anyone else who deserves recognition.

They don’t need to be famous or have a fancy title. They just need to make Sacramento a better, more interesting, creative, connected, weird, or fun place to call home.
