Vivian Yoon is a TV writer and performer from Los Angeles. Her background is in improv and sketch comedy, and pre-pandemic she performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater on Harold Night.

Vivian has previously written on shows for Netflix and Amazon, and is currently developing an original dramatic comedy series with Blumhouse TV. She is also the writer and host of a limited series podcast from LAist Studios called K-Pop Dreaming, which looks at the rise and history of K-Pop from the perspective of the Korean diaspora in Los Angeles. The show has been covered by publications like The Los Angeles Times, Forbes, NPR, and more.

As an actor, Vivian has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, voice acted in movies like Spies in Disguise and The Christmas Chronicles, and appeared in over ten national commercials for brands like Apple, Samsung, McDonald’s, Walmart, and more. She is also a frequent guest speaker at workshops, film programs, and universities all around the country.
