LACEY CARROLL

After a long hiatus, Lacey Carroll fell back into improv in 2019 at the Sacramento Comedy Spot and never looked back at her “I’m a normal adult now” phase. With a background in traditional theater, she started improv in 1998 (a strong year for both improv and questionable fashion choices) in a short-form singing troupe.

An alum of The Next Stage in San Francisco, Lacey now calls the Sacramento Comedy Spot home, where she performs, coaches, and fully commits to the bit.

Offstage, she’s a headshot and portrait photographer (www.laceymcarroll.com), a devoted thrifter, and a firm believer that the peak of television was the “1976 Paul Lynde Halloween Special”. She drinks her iced tea unsweetened, and will defend that choice to all who challenge her.

Lacey is also a Helix coach at the Comedy Spot.
